One of the UK’s leading research consultancies, Bunnyfoot, is to open a Sheffield office in November.

Bunnyfoot Sheffield will initially open at a temporary office before transferring to its permanent site in March 2009 at Electric Works in the Digital Campus, in order to be a part of the city’s burgeoning creative and digital sector community.

Bunnyfoot uses market analysis and customer-focused research programmes to help clients develop the adverts, websites, products and services the public is seeking to access and buy. It will open its Sheffield office with a staff of three but plans to grow rapidly as part of an expansion programme that sees Sheffield join New York and Hong Kong as its main target cities for 2008 and 2009.

Bunnyfoot works for a range of international clients, including the BBC, HM Revenue & Customs, the NHS, Virgin, RBS, Microsoft and several Government departments.

MD at Bunnyfoot Sheffield, Alison Rawlings, says: “Sheffield has become a great hub for digital media in recent years we recognise the value of what has been created and its exciting future. We want to be part of that future.

“Electric Works is an exceptional building and the ideal place for us. It’s close to the station so we will be able to easily carry out ‘mass user testing’, a new approach to checking the ‘ease of use’ of products and services.”

Bunnyfoot was established in 1999 and currently employs 42 people in four locations: Oxford, Edinburgh, London and Reading
