Insurance Australia Group, owner of Hastings Direct is set to review its media account currently split between Feather Brooksbank and Story.

The car insurance brand currently uses Feather Brooksbank for its TV media planning and buying while Story works on the no-TV buying campaign aspects.

The review began at the end of the last week and is being conducted by AAR.

Story’s newly opened London office was appointed to the account earlier this year, with the aid of the agency’s main Edinburgh office as Hastings was looking to develop its brand positioning and integrated advertising using various media channels including TV, digital, press and direct marketing.

Sue Mullen, managing director of Story, told The Drum: "We have a good relationship with Hastings and our work is performing well. This is a statutory review which happens every year."

Story's contract is in place until the end of the first quarter of 2009.
