Roger Ward, former MD of BDH\TBWA and currently the owner of the Victorian Chop House Company and Martin Anderson, the former creative director and chairman of BDH\TBWA, are to reunite as they join The Raft.

Ward has joined as non-executive director and Anderson has become creative consultant for the Wilmslow based agency.

Ward, who has been out of the industry since his departure from BDH in 1999 was behind Phil Howells, creative director for the agency joining the business in April.

The Raft was founded in 2003 by ex-BDH\TBWA employees Phil Storton and Shaun Keefe and has a client list which includes Bupa, Brother UK, Freedom Finance, Alphason, Lex Vehicle Leasing, Agfa Medical and Good Natured fruit juice.

Shaun Keefe, director and co-founder of The Raft, said: “Roger and Martin and I go way to back. We have known each other for years and have remained friends. We are absolutely delighted that they have agreed to get involved in our business. They’re experienced, commercial, effective and really enthusiastic about what we’re doing.

There’s no doubt that they will add value. In fact they’ve done so already. We reckon that their help will firmly establish the Raft as a force to reckon with. They add new skills to the growing team. And they will help take us to another level.”

Ward added: “The team at the Raft are really good people. They’ve got a passion for making a difference, doing great work and getting on with the job. It’s great fun to work with old mates and with people you like. That will never change. And Martin and I are confident that we can help them to achieve the success they are working so hard to deliver.”
