Kirsteen Campell, head of corporate marketing & sponsorship for life insurance and pensions company, AEGON has departed to join Edinburgh marketing agency Multiply.

Campbell has joined the agency as an account director working on the Royal Bank of Scotland account.

Kirsteen Campbell said: “Having been a brand manager for a number of years I was keen to move to the other side and get involved in account management. I loved the whole ethos and spirit of Multiply and wanted to be part of a dynamic, innovative environment, working with great clients.”

A spokesperson for AEGON told The Drum that the company was not recruiting to fill the role and that the responsibilities would be covered within the existing team.

Campbell’s appointment is one of three new faces to join the agency alongside Susanna Murphy and Luke DiRollo.

Murphy has joined the motion graphics department as a producer having previously worked for Blimey Productions, while Di Rollo has joined as an account executive.

The new appointments bring the total number of staff at Multiply up to 35.

Kate Fenton, director of Multiply said the appointments were part of an ongoing recruitment drive.

She said: “All three are very talented and bring distinct qualities to our existing team. This is part of an investment and development strategy which will strengthen our offering to clients and allow us to maintain our high standards across all departments as we kick off fresh campaigns and absorb new business wins.

“We’ve just celebrated our fifth year in business and turnover has increased each of those years to £2.6 million in our latest accounts. Projects towards the end of the year and into 2009 look very healthy and further staff appointments will ensure we are well positioned to handle further anticipated growth.”
