The Co-Operative Food has appointed TBWA\Manchester to create its Christmas campaign.
The agency beat incumbent McCann Erickson to the campaign, although the agency continues to work on the overall Co-Op business.
As part of the TV spots, directed by Luke Scott, a Christmas single by Gabriella Cilmi will feature, produced alongside TBWA\Stream.
Debbie Robinson, director of food and retail at the Co-op, said: "This year, we wanted something different, something that would encapsulate that Christmas feeling. The fit between the artist and the creative is perfect, and we cannot wait to release it to the public."
