Com.Motion pair buy into Channel 6
The pair behind Com.Motion, Kate Little and John Cavanagh have agreed a deal to buy Edinburgh based Channel 6 Multimedia.
The six figure deal will see the pair team up with two existing staff members Anne Marie Wood, creative director and Ewen Cameron, technical director who have taken equal financial stakes in the company.
Cavanagh will act as director while Little will act in the role of client services director.
Little said: “We both loved our jobs advising other people how to run successful web-based businesses. However, it soon became clear that we both wanted to take it a step further and make a go of it ourselves.
“We set up our own internet marketing company, Com.Motion, almost three years ago and from there we developed strong links with Channel 6. When the chance came up to takeover such a healthy and respected business it was far too good an opportunity to pass up. We now have a team in place to really make huge strides forward.”
