Edinburgh-based design studio Nevis has appointed Navyblue's Jonathan Helm as its new commercial director.

The move comes after Mike Lynch departed the agency earlier this month to head up Radley Yeldar's new Edinburgh office.

Helm started his career at P.I. Global in London as business development manager where new client wins included Coca Cola, Centura Foods and Matthew Clark. He then moved to Design Bridge where he brought in business with Imperial Tobacco, Red Bull and Unilever among others.

Prior to Nevis, Jonathan was at Navyblue in Edinburgh where he worked with a variety of clients including SMG, Napier University, Miller Homes and RBS.

Speaking of his appointment, Helm said: “I am delighted to be joining such a passionate and creative team. I had only ever heard great things about Nevis, from within the industry and on the client side, so I jumped at the chance to join them. Nevis has forged strong bonds with its clients and I look forward to building on this excellent foundation with both existing and new clients.”

“Joining Nevis has reminded of why I got into this industry in the first place. The key thing that really struck me about the team was the genuine passion they bring to every project and the great relationships they have established with their clients.”

Graham Scott creative director added: "David (Huckell) and I are delighted to welcome Jonathan to the Helm of the commercial team. With continued momentum on new business and the extra support of Jonathan’s project management experience, we are expecting a strong finish to an already successful year."
