The WWAV Rapp Collins Group, which has an office in Edinburgh, is to re-brand as part of a global alignment of the Omnicom-owned Rapp Collins direct marketing network.

All agencies within the global network – including the Edinburgh office – are to operate under the new brand name, Rapp.

In the UK, the WWAV Rapp Collins Group companies will align under the Rapp banner from mid October in a move that also signals greater integration of its resources.

The existing direct marketing agencies in Edinburgh and London will become Rapp. WWAV Rapp Collins Media will become Rapp Media and the Group’s healthcare division, Rapp Collins Consumer Health will be Rapp Consumer Health.

The Group’s CRM and data specialist, Identex, will also re-brand as Rapp.

WWAV Rapp Collins Edinburgh, managing partner, Rebecca Heaney, said the move will also see “much closer integration of our UK companies.” She commented: “We are moving to a much more integrated offering. Bringing together these resources under the Rapp banner gives us ‘best in class’ expertise covering every stage of the customer journey. It’s a significant and exciting new chapter in the agency’s history.

WWAV Rapp Collins Group CEO Marco Scognamiglio – a former MD of WWAV in Edinburgh – said: “As a result of the digitalisation of content and communications channels all marketing is now direct marketing. We believe we are best placed to navigate clients through this new consumerscape because we have taken consumer insight on to a new level with an approach and business ethos we call Customer Obsession, now embraced globally.”
