Swamp is helping the England & Wales Cricket Board engage with sports fans and increase the following of the England cricket team through Facebook.

The agency has launched the Official England Cricket page for TwelthMan which replaces the England Cricket Supporters Club as the official voice of England cricket.

The service offers fans the chance to subscribe to exclusive benefits and services, including prioritised access to England international tickets.

Alongside the site, Swamp has introduced innovative new Facebook applications which include profile badges and the 'Bat For England' cricket game.

Bat For England is an advanced Flash Facebook application which combines high production design and addictive gameplay as well as maximising the viral capabilities within Facebook.

The game enables participants the opportunity to select players from the England cricket team, then bat and bowl to their Facebook friends. Players' scores are accumulated over time and the highest are displayed on two top-10 leader boards featuring their friends and the world's top players.

The campaign hopes to reach out to a new cricket audience and attract the more casual sports fans.
