Manchester-based Communique PR has been appointed by Good Earth Teas to undertake a campaign to raise awareness of the brand following its recent UK launch.

The range, famous for its speciality organic teas, was acquired by Tetley, a subsidiary of Tata Tea Ltd, in October 2005, and launched a range of five teas in Britain earlier this year.

Communique's campaign is to be led by newly-recruited account director Helen Lambert, who has joined Communique's Manchester office from Staniforth. The drive will be directed principally at busy mums looking for some 'me time'.

Dorothy Sieber, commercial controller of Good Earth Teas, said the company were impressed by Communique from the outset.

Sieber explained; “From the first meeting, they got inside the brand and developed original, thought-provoking ideas that are realistic and commercial. We have full confidence that Communique PR will deliver a campaign that will achieve our marketing and business objectives.”
