Curious Group to aid new design degree course

A new design course is to begin at Caledonian University in Glasgow which will involved the help of the Curious Group.

The course includes a work placement at Curious Group in Glasgow allowing students the opportunity to get involved in live creative campaigns.

Bruce Wood, director of creative industries at Glasgow Caledonian University explained; "Students will get a unique and useful experience on this programme in that they will get a balance of academic input in conjunction with a managed practical experience in a Creative Company. The Centre for Creative Industries has experience in the field of Design, Design Management and the Creative Industries and the Curious Group offers a practical experience with a creative company working across almost all of the creative industries port folio on a national and international basis."

He continued; "The program and partnership is unique, dynamic, and creative which reflects the character of the creative industries sector. There is no other programme of this nature in the UK in this sector with the partnership in placeThe blend of creative skills with the appropriate business knowledge supported by academic rigour and live business experience will give students the opportunity to develop their skill and knowledge and relate this to their creative drive.
