Lewis creates New to the Borders website
Lewis has launched the New to the Borders website designed and built on behalf of the Borders Housing Network, through client Waverley Housing.
The site, which was funded by the BIG Lottery Award for All, was developed to act as a guide, helping people from overseas who want to live and work in the Scottish Borders.
It provides information across five main areas: employment, housing, health and welfare, education and emergency services.
The website is a natural extension of the Welcome to the Borders information booklet that was published by Scottish Borders Council last year and can now be downloaded from the site in English, Polish, Portuguese and Russian.
Links are also available througout the site to housing associations, schools, libraries and TV licensing amongst others.
