Nevis Design Consultants has been commissioned to complete the design of the 2009 Letts of London diary collection. The luxury leather diary range is inspired by company founder John Letts, who in 1812 invented the modern-day diary.

In 1812, stationer John Letts combined a calendar with a journal, thereby inventing the modern diary and today Letts of London is one of the largest manufacturer of diaries in the world.

Nevis has worked on the two ranges being launched to date: – The Westminster, a masculine and understated leather range partnered with the Duchess, a bright range featuring a chic clasp on textured genuine leather.

Graham Scott of Nevis commented: “This has been a enjoyable and challenging project for us to work on. Branding, classic layout and elegant typography all of which we are known for, but we have also undertaken a steep learning curve on new aspects of binding, leather finishes and closures. We look forward to developing the range for 2010”.
