Irn Bru has created a new £2 million promotion campaign to advertise its first ever limited edition branded glass give away.

The Scottish consumer promotion campaign, which begins on Monday 28 July, will include two 10 second TV adverts, Radio, Press and TV, as well as on-line activity created by The Leith Agency and its sister digital agency, Blonde.

The TV campaign will begin from 27 July until mid August.

The in-store consumer promotion will see a free branded Irn Bru glass given to anyone who buys two 2x two litre bottles of Irn Bru which will be available across both multiple grocery and independent retail trade across Scotland.

On-trade outlets will also be provided with glasses in which to serve Irn Bru to customers.

Adrian Troy, head of marketing for Barrs, said; “We are very excited about the availability of the first ever iconic Irn-Bru glass.

“Irn Bru is Scotland’s favourite soft drink and its consumers have a very special relationship with it so we have no doubt that the appeal of the glass will be massive and it will be a must have and much sought after collectors item in Scotland.”
