Advertising agency WFCA, which merged earlier this year with Ekay, has kicked off an expansion plan with a host of new arrivals.

The Tunbridge Wells-based firm, which claims to be the largest agency outside London in terms of turnover, has hired a raft of new staff to bring its headcount to 107. As a result, the agency has expanded into additional premises at Heathervale House, to join its existing Cobden and Media Towers offices.

Over 20 new members of staff have joined the agency. They include Damian McAlonon, who has joined as new business director. He was formerly commercial director at Boost Media for four years.

Nigel Palmer has been made client services director, having previously been account director at Saatchi. Steve Latter has been made finance director across the group, after joining from Aegis.
