Yorkshire Tea has called a review of its creative account, which had been held by Manchester's Love.
Incumbent, Love, has handled the business since 2005. The tea brand is owned by Taylors of Harrogate and includes Yorkshire Tea and Yorkshire Gold among its products.
Taylors of Harrogate also appointed Love to handle a national campaign for its own roast and ground coffee range, following a four-way pitch, in December.
A Love spokesman said: "We have a strong working relationship with Taylors Of Harrogate and look forward to working with them on an ongoing basis. We expect and welcome competition for their range of brands."
The family run business is reported to be in early-stage discussions with other advertising agencies.
The review will not affect Taylors’ media arrangements, handled by MediaCom North.
