Material starts work on Beck's headline event, Beck's Fusions

Inbev UK has appointed Material Marketing to work on its lager brand, Beck’s brand headlined events.

Following and competitive pitch, the Glasgow based agency was appointed to handle all of Becks’ strategy, PR and event production in January, which has seen Material launch the Becks Fusion Events.

The art and music project will run throughout the summer engaging artists, musicians, critics and the general public with United Visual Artists and Massive Attack headlining the event on 6 September in Manchester.

Material has been engaged by InBev UK to work on the Tennent’s Lager brand’s music and football portfolio’s in Scotland since their inception in 2003 and has subsequently been engaged to work on the brand’s music platforms in Northern Ireland. In addition, the agency has previously been engaged in project specific work on other portfolio brands such as Stella Artois and Hoegaarden.

The newly recruited team of Marketing Society young marketer of the year nominee Leroy Harris as account director and Anne McMeeking as account executive will head up the Beck's Fusions account.
