Jersey Choice choose MediaVest

Jersey Choice has appointed MediaVest to handle its media planning and buying account, following a competitive pitch.

The media agency collected the brief after final pitches against MindShare and the incumbent AW Media. MediaVest has taken over immediately and is responsible for planning and buying a multi-channel direct response campaign, for Autumn 08.

Jersey Choice provides high quality bedding plants, bulbs, perennials and shrubs, available for delivery throughout the UK. Marketing director Tim Dunningham, previously chief executive of Flying Brands, said: “Our Jersey Plants Direct brand has been very successful since it was launched in 2006. With MediaVest as our partners, and the enhanced focus upon media efficiencies and optimisation that they will bring, we expect to significantly increase our customer base.”

Jon Hall, MediaVest's strategy director, said: “Focus will be firmly placed on maximising Jersey Choice’s media investment. We have produced a confident strategy with thorough results analysis combined with real media value to ensure we optimise every area of Jersey Choice’s media mix.”
