Mason Williams appoints new deputy MD
PR firm Mason Williams has appointed Gawen Higgins as its new deputy managing director.
Higgins, 34, has been with the company for eight years after joining from a background in events and promotion, where he worked with emerging bands in the northern music scene.
His new position at the company will see him continuing in a hands-on role on the agency's key accounts of Hasbro, IAWS and Jurys, while taking a more strategic role in the growth of the company.
Managing director, Rita Rowe, said: "We are very excited at this new development and new chapter in the Mason Williams story.
"This year is the best and most successful the agency has enjoyed giving us the position of being the biggest independent in the north west. Gawen has been part of that success story and will be a key member of the team to drive the agency forward in the future."
