Bulmers chooses The Foundry for web makeover

Design agency The Foundry has won the account to redesign and refresh the website for cider maker Bulmers, following a three way pitch.

The Foundry will maintain and support the website on an ongoing basis. As well as providing basic support such as generating regular website statistics, The Foundry will work with Bulmers in developing online campaigns and in traffic generation.

Douglas Cooke, brand manager at Bulmers, said: “We chose The Foundry because of its track record in creating engaging websites for other leading FMCG brands.

“We wanted to work with an agency that understands the things that motivate Bulmers’ target audience and this insight will play an important role in the longer term development of the website.”

This month represents The Foundry’s tenth anniversary. The agency was co-founded by creative and managing director Kevin Murphy and e-business director Ian McKay. The Foundry’s third board member, client services director Zoe Connolly, joined in 2002.
