BJL has the extra ‘oo’ for tea brand
BJL has been appointed to handle the seven-figure advertising brief for Typhoo.
Indian group Apeejay Surrendra, which owns Typhoo, has tasked the Manchester-based agency to work alongside the brand’s media planning and buying agency, ZenithOptimedia, which was retained following a pitch.
BJL has been tasked with creating TV advertising to compete with Typhoo’s tea brand rivals, which include PG Tips, and to build the brand’s sales.
BJL replaces incumbent CHI & Partners, which chose not to repitch.
