Nation1 grows its digital team following wins

The campaign is timed to coincide with Japanese students going back to school after the winter break.

Following its repositioning to focus on digital and creative marketing, Nation1 has been appointed by Charlie Taylor, a chain of Scottish hairdressing salons, to develop a campaign through Youtube, PPC, SEO to drive traffic to the online store.

The agency has also won the contract to build an integrated e-shop and website for with ongoing SEO and online PR.

Meanwhile, the agency has also recruited two of SMG’s key digital players.

Joe Hughes joins as digital planner. He was previously responsible for strategy across SMG’s digital platforms and Greg Barnes joins the technical team.

In addition the agency has appointed Gary Sutherland former online journalist at BBC Scotland.
