Grolsch has appointed Stripe Communications to handle its national UK consumer PR account.

The account was won by the Tangible Group’s PR agency following a three-way pitch against two London agencies.

Stripe’s remit is to effectively communicate both the Grolsch brand and its growing product portfolio and to provide integrated brand PR, while maximising strategic brand sponsorships including the Grolsch association with Channel 4’s original comedy.

The account will be led by Morna McLelland, associate director, who joined Stripe from Glenmorangie, having previously worked for Weber Shandwick.

Laura Burgoyne, senior brand manager for Grolsch said: “We’re excited about our new relationship with Stripe Communications and what they can bring to our consumer activity programme through its integrated PR.”
