Contagious wins pitch for Balmoral brief

The Balmoral Hotel is to create a new local advertising campaign in Edinburgh following the appointment of Contagious.

The Edinburgh-based agency was appointed by the client following a three-way pitch led by the Reccomended Agency Guide, which included Studio LR and Mightysmall and will see it take on design duties for the five star luxury hotel, owned by the Rocco Forte Collection.

Jessica Trotter, PR and marketing manager for The Balmoral hotel, said; “The level of the agency’s current portfolio instilled a confidence in us that they will be able to deliver what we are looking for.”

Contagious will launch an advertising campaign focusing on the hotel’s four food and beverage outlets as well as redesigning internal collateral, including menus and festive cooms material.

The hotel has also appointed a new marketing and PR assistant, Kjersti Steffensen from VisitScotland.
