Scotland on Sunday has introduced a ‘promotional price’ in the north of Scotland.

Beginning last Sunday, the newspaper has gone on sale in the Grampian and Highland regions at half its usual price of 70p.

A new television campaign has also launched running through out the regions, created by The Gate Edinburgh.

Gordon Santana, head of newspaper sales and marketing at Scotland on Sunday, said; “The primary reason for the price promotion is to allow reader to sample the paper. Les Snowdon, our editor for about 18 months has made ongoing improvements to the paper since his arrival including the addition of a third colour magazine, Review, and recently an entirely revamped sport section. And 'athome', from the feedback we receive, remains the best weekly property and interiors magazine in the Scottish marketplace.”
