Education course provider, International Correspondence School (ICS) has become the first client of Perfect Storm, the new digital marketing agency launched last month as a joint venture between Family and Storm ID.

Education course provider, International Correspondence School (ICS) has become the first client of Perfect Storm, the new digital marketing agency launched last month as a joint venture between Family and Storm ID.

Perfect Storm will now create and implement a digital marketing strategy to achieve online sales for ICS, which claims to be the world’s number one home learning organisation and offers 200 different courses.

The campaign will include online advertising, search and email elements, also designed to drive enrolment through the ICS website.

A key part of the process is search optimisation, and the new agency has also confirmed it has signed a partnership agreement with The Search Works, a London-based operation, who will look after this side of the project for ICS, as well as future Perfect Storm accounts.

Part of the deal will see in-house staff at Perfect Storm accredited and trained in The Search Works campaign management technology.

Vivienne Maclaren, managing director of Perfect Storm, said: ““To be working with a client of this scale and stature in our first year is tremendous.

“We are already working really well with ICS’s own marketing team and will be working towards achieving and hopefully exceeding online targets.”

Perferct Storm was launched last month as a joint digital venture by Family and Storm ID, headed up by Vivienne MacLaren, who has been working with Storm ID since last summer.

Since the launch of Perfect Storm, Family has admitted that it is looking to create more partnership agencies in the future.
