Avian creates Walkers Shortbread site
Walkers Shortbread has launched a new e-commerce store on which to sell its high in demand products.
Dundee based, Avian was tasked with designing and developing the site which will offer customers a chance to sample the company’s range of varieties of shortbread, cakes, biscuits and oatcakes. The site has been designed to include a fully integrated flexible backend system which manages fulfillment and stock control.
Frazer Blyth, digital director at Avian, commented; “The challenge was to produce an on-line shop that reinforced the Walkers brand and presented the complete range of Walkers products in an attractive way while at the same time making the user’s journey on the site as easy as possible.”
