After being confirmed as Lambrini’s new advertising agency, BJL has been awarded the brand’s consumer facing PR account by parent company Halewood International.

BJL managing director Nicky Unsworth revealed PR had been an “organic development” for the business, with Sarah Knight - formerly of Staniforth, Marksman PR and Powells - recently appointed to head up PR.

The appointment does not affect Halewood’s relationship with McCann Erickson Communications House, which is retained to handle trade and corporate PR for Halewood International.

Meanwhile, BJL has crafted a £1million campaign for Bauer Radio’s network of Big City stations.

The campaign incorporates TV, outdoor, DM and online to promote Bauer’s ‘£1,000 Song’ initiative.

Steve Parkinson, Bauer Radio’s marketing director, said: “Over the coming year one of Bauer Radio’s key priorities will be to continue reinforcing our relationships with our strong local audiences by creating innovative and exciting ways of driving increased listening. This creates the dual winning situation of delivering advertisers both highly targeted local audiences alongside large scale combined audiences across the UK’s major conurbations.”
