Web design agencies Realise and Whitespace have delivered the website to support the Bank of Scotland's Entrepreneur challenge.

Using Whitespace designs as the starting point, Realise then built the site and developed an online application feature to enable entrepreneurs to sign up fast.

The website navigation has been designed with users front of mind. Applicants can find everything they need to know about the Bank of Scotland 2008 ï¿¡35m Entrepreneur challenge quickly and easily.

The Challenge will take place over seven regions throughout the UK, with the bank looking for established and growing businesses with a minimum turnover of £2m to impress its judges with their creativity and vision. Each winner will receive up to £5m funding entirely free of interest for 3 years and free of arrangement fees.

The site will be accessed by users UK-wide.

To encourage visitors to the site to apply for the challenge, the site is packed with interesting and informative case studies in the form of video clips and feedback on last year’s winner. The site also explains in detail the judging process and encourages entry via the simple to use download form and online application facility.

The full build of the site was completed within six weeks.

Fiona Proudler, creative services director at Realise said: “This project was a case of successful collaboration between the designers at Whitespace and our own web development team at Realise. This is not the first time Realise has worked in partnership with another agency to deliver a high quality project and this is proof again that it can work very successfully.”
