Story appoints director of strategy

Story has appointed Andrew Mason as its director of strategy.

Mason joins Story from MindShare Direct where he was managing director, running accounts such as HSBC, first direct, Boden, 3, Abbey and Endsleigh.

He previously worked at Zed media as group account director and has over 12 years' communications experience, specialising in digital and direct marketing.

While being based in London, Mason will also work with the Edinburgh office in developing business on a national basis.

The announcement of the London-based role comes soon after Story’s recent appointment by insurance provider, Hastings Direct.

Meanwhile, Story has won silver at this year’s Cable Awards in New York for its Ardbeg Beastie campaign.
