The Leith Agency

I really like this. Dead simple idea, with the “1” as an in-car air freshener you get the point immediately. There’s maybe a whiff (did you see what I did there?) of it being a bit cheap which would normally put me off a second hand car dealer, but the familiarity of the s1 branding ensures inexpensive comes across as a positive. 8/10

I’m too old to review this. It was like being in a hybrid tellyshopping, kids TV hell - all shiny, noisy presenters and primary colours. But then it’s not aimed at an old fart like me and I have a horrible feeling it’s probably incredibly successful and I’m just wildly out of touch. 6/10

Golley Slater

Brasher website

Bland. I can navigate around easily enough but nothing stands out. Fine to get the boots I already know I want, but I wouldn’t want to browse. There doesn’t seem to be a difference between the Outdoor and Lifestyle ranges - maybe I didn’t look long enough. 4/10

In-house/The Gate Films

A nice laid back Sunday feel and I like the understated “Scotland’s biggest selling newspaper” headline. I didn’t know that. And it’s good to see someone trying to get me to buy a paper rather than a free DVD. It works for me. 7/10
