The Union is thought to be involved in a pitch for a high profile beer brand, believed to be Miller

Meanwhile, Union Direct has launched a new campaign for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

The new brand refresh for Scottish Widows Investment Partnership has been created with the intention of communicating that the organisation is “youthful and dynamic” and also “relies on teamwork”.

The new approach will be applied to all brand communications encompassing advertising, direct marketing, events and internal communications.

On other fronts, the agency has promoted Dawn Kermani to deputy creative director of direct, having joined as a senior writer from WWAV Rapp Collins in 2005.

Kermani will oversee all Union Direct’s creative output.

Elsewhere, Ross Arroll rejoins the agency as production account manager, having previously worked at Union Direct, before leaving in 2004 and Emma Campbell joins from Navigator as an account manager, while Helen Stewart joins as an account executive.
