Decision imminent on Wales climate change project
The Welsh Assembly Government will soon make a decision on its climate change brief after holding a pitch with Golley Slater, Newcastle-based Different and TBWA\Manchester.
The pitch, which has been managed by the Central Office of Information (COI), has been organised as the Government aims to raise awareness among consumers of their own personal impact on climate change and educate them in ways that they can reduce their carbon footprint through, for example, energy saving and water conservation in the home.
Sara Moseley, head of communications at the Welsh Assembly Government, said: “Wales has been in the lead on sustainability for some time now and the Welsh Assembly Government wants to build on this. To reduce Wales’ greenhouse gas emissions, we need to know what will motivate people to change and effectively show the impact of climate change on them and their children.”
