After two years of negotiation and assessment, McCann Erickson Communications House has been granted unique accreditation for an internal training course.

The ‘I-Ed’ course is the first in-house agency training programme to gain accreditation from Manchester Metropolitan University, and will now reward employees who successfully complete it with a 1/3 of a Post Graduate Certificate in Digital Marketing.

The module, Strategy and Planning for Digital Marketing Communications, will educate employees on the digital marketing planning process, understanding the digital customer, attracting digital visitors, website design, email and viral, digital marketing futures, and evaluation of success and practical case studies.

The partnership will seek to further develop the digital skills on a broader level in the agency as well as develop education links within the agency in the broader context.

McCann Erickson CEO, Sue Little, said: “The media environment is constantly changing and it is essential for everyone involved to change with it.”
