GMG Radio names media account pitching agencies

GMG Radio has confirmed the agencies that it has shortlisted to pitch for its media buying account this month.

After meetings with a “number of agencies,” GMG has now whittled down the applicants to a shortlist of four which includes incumbent Brilliant, MediaCom, phd and MEC:MediaEdge:CIA.

A formal pitch will be conducted over 13 and 14 December and will be handled by the Advertising Agency Register (AAR) on behalf of the radio company.

A final decision is due to be made by the company before Christmas and the account will involve media buying for GMG Radio’s 13 radio stations across the UK which operate under the Smooth Radio, Real, Century FM and Rock Radio brands.
