Manchester’s Hemisphere has cemented its relationship with Imperial War Museum North (IWMN) after securing the brief to design a new exhibition at a three-way pitch.

Hemisphere will design the exhibition, which celebrates the work of the founder of Magnum - war photographer George Rodger - and its associated marketing campaign.

The new project is the latest in a series of exhibition work the agency has created for the Trafford-based Museum. Hemisphere’s creative director Grant Windridge, said: “Despite our existing relationship we’ve never taken anything for granted when pitching to IWMN.

“Each subject is new and demands new ideas, new interpretations to bring the content alive, all mixed in with a grounded eye to the budget!”

The exhibition is due to open in February 2008 and comes shortly after the opening of the Hemisphere-designed Art Treasures: 150 years on at Manchester Art Gallery and the current Animals’ War exhibition at IIWMN.
