Sales Team of the Year
Adline is pleased to announce the Sales Team of the Year for 2006. After a slight hiatus in order to review the judging mechanism and after much consultation with the media community in Manchester and Leeds, the Sales Team of the Year makes a welcome return, and we can reveal the nominations for this year.
How the judging took place
The judging for the Sales Team of the Year started last year when Adline contacted media owners to ask them to provide us with ten media sales buyers for us to contact to research.
An independent research company – MRUK, was then employed to contact the names on the list that had been supplied. The media buyers were asked about the sales teams that they deal with on a regular basis and asked to rate them on service, creativity, proactivity and market knowledge in the sales team’s specialist area.
Respondents were also asked to elaborate in specific areas where teams and also individuals were innovative in their approach to sales and their response to a challenging campaign. From this the nominations that are featured in the panel were found.
