Euro RSCG Leedex has been appointed by Burger King to promote the launch of freshly baked baguettes, which have been added to the fast food chain’s range.

Leedex’s Edinburgh office will be working on the first stage of the campaign, which is worth £750,000, as the promotion is being trialled in Scotland. The new range will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign, which begins this month and will consist of TV, radio, press and PR.

Paul Reynish of Burger King UK said: “The launch of our new baguette menu marks a first in the UK’s quick burger industry. Customers are looking for more variety and a greater choice of premium products when they eat out. That’s why we are confident that our range of baguettes, which are freshly baked in our restaurant every day and packed with the freshest quality ingredients, will be a real winner with our customers.”
