Fantasy Marketing League
The results are in for the first league table of this year's season.
26 teams have signed up to do battle in The Drum’s Fantasy Marketing League as the season gets underway this issue. Listed here are the teams that have now been registered by their captains and the agencies that they have chosen to make up their dream marketing roster. Over the next 36 weeks The Drum will monitor how well, or how badly, each agency is doing and keep a running total for each team. Points will be allocated or deducted from each team depending on the set of criteria, listed at www.thedrum.com.The team that has the highest points total at the end of the season (October) will be invited to collect their trophy on stage at the Scottish Advertising Awards. We’d like to wish each and every team and agency all the best for the long hard season ahead and ask the agencies that have been selected to keep us informed of all their business wins so that we can keep an accurate account for the players.
After inputting the first week’s points Angela Casey’s Porter Novelli All-Stars top the league after scoring well for Limone’s AirMiles win and 1576’s wins for Swinton, My Travel Group and Visit Scotland. In second spot are Ian Bunt’s The Craws who also scored well for 1576’s three wins and in third poistion is Graeme McGowan’s Yer Maw, which picked up points for launch of The Union’s new division THINK UNION and also for Limone’s AirMiles win. So, it’s all to play for. Game on.
