The Leith Agency has appointed Ian White to work alongside Lisa Ferrara, heading up Leith Direct, the agency’s direct marketing division.

White joins as joint head of Leith Direct from WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland, where he was senior art director.

Having started his career with the Leith’s then direct marketing agency, One to One Direct Communications, White has also worked with Carlson Marketing in London and Carlina Draftworldwide.

White will be joined by Mark Sermon as art director, who joins from Draftworldwide.

Since the integration of the core team with the former direct marketing company six months ago, The Leith Agency has picked up a number of accounts, including work from the World Wildlife Fund, OneSearch Direct, the Original Shoe Company, Sports Connection and Nambarrie.

John Rowley, chief executive of Leith, said of the appointments: "For Leith to become a credible competitor within direct we need to demonstrate that we can win clients and invest in appropriately experienced people. Our recent run of wins and the hiring of Ian and Mark is evidence of our progress in both these areas. We're in DM for the long term.”
