After a long search, Metis has appointed Kenny Stewart as its new managing director.

He joins the Edinburgh DM agency from the Carlson Marketing Group, where he has been a director of business development. Previously, Stewart spent eight years working with the Wunderman Cato Johnson group both in the UK and worldwide.

His international experience includes time as managing director of Impiric Melbourne, Australia, and also time in South Africa, where he set up the Impiric office.

The appointment comes on the first anniversary of the founding of Metis.

Stewart said: “I am delighted to return to my native country to join such a fresh agency, which has done remarkably well since its start-up. I believe in the Metis proposition, which embraces consumer insight in line with a creative flair.”
