More than forty people gathered at Faulds last Tuesday to be briefed for this year’s Scottish Advertising Newcomer Award.

This year the brief was set by Pete Bastiman, deputy creative director of Faulds, and asks entrants to create an advertising campaign to sell a new unbreakable stainless steel flask to all potential users.

The winner will collect their award at the gala awards ceremony on 1 November, a £300 cash prize and a placement at a leading Scottish ad agency. Two runners-up will also receive a £100 cash prize.

The deadline for entries to the competition is Tuesday 25 June.
