Standard Life Investments has put it’s direct marketing account, currently held by Oneagency, up for pitch.

Story, the DM agency founded by former Oneagency directors Sue and Dave Mullen, is thought to be pitching for the account. Whilst at Oneagency Dave and Sue handled the SLI account, and industry insiders have tipped them to steal the business.

Meanwhile, Story has netted its third six-figure contract as Glenmorangie announces it is to shift the contract for its Islay malt, Ardbeg, to the new start-up. This news will come as a blow to Oneagency, Ardbeg’s incumbent, which has already lost the First Direct account to it’s former directors. Story will undertake the brand’s advertising, internet and CRM activity and will focus on raising the profile of the Ardbeg Committee, an exclusive club which the team initiated at OneAgency.
