About The Role

You will support our Branding Strategy Director to explore creative possibilities, focusing on the conception and design of campaigns and brand strategies. You will contribute to the continual development of your team, producing innovative and market-leading work.
The role of the Art Director is all-encompassing and will utilise your wide skillset. On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Solve problems creatively across a full range of projects, covering brands, campaigns, and other design challenges,
  • Deliver mature and compelling ideas that reflect Wyatts brand proposition,
  • Direct others (including photographers, illustrators, etc.) to maintain the quality and integrity of your ideas and vision,
  • Create and implement winning concepts that satisfy clients,
  • Lead by example and mentor your team to execute and deliver creative projects, online and offline, using both static and moving imagery,
  • Produce powerful and engaging ideas that work across different channels,
  • Work closely with our client service teams to support their client development work with pro-active ideas,
  • Attend clients meetings to take briefs and present creative work,
  • Ensure that creative output adheres to our clients guidelines,
  • Develop pitch-winning ideas to bring on board new clients,
  • Act as a coach and mentor to other members of the creative team.

Were looking for a conceptual person who can sell their ideas to our clients, and produce a stellar campaign, from concept to final product. Our ideal Art Director will have:

  • Experience as an Art Director in an agency environment, having worked with both on and offline media,
  • Strong creative vision and flair, with well-developed creative problem-solving skills,
  • Ability to create effective scamps and to conceptualise and manage this through to the finished product,
  • Experience of utilising mood boards to excite the client before revealing the final product,
  • Excellent people skills, including supervising and directing the work of others,
  • Good influencing and presenting skills, and the ability to sell an idea to the client,
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and turn work around quickly,
  • Strong teamworking skills and ability to work collaboratively,
  • Flexibility in their approach,
  • Commitment to the delivery of high standards of customer service,
  • Able to take feedback and grow from this.
