Role Purpose

To lead the growth in direct to consumer sales online by raising awareness of Gusbourne, our collection of super premium wines as well as our tour and tasting experiences, via a range of digital marketing channels.

Key Accountabilities

Devising tactics and plans to ensure we achieve online budget expectations
Managing the relationship with our website developer
Driving our digital marketing agency to produce effective results
Proposing, testing and implementing bespoke digital campaigns for specific target groups, with measurable objectives
Leading on CRM, data collection and database management for all of our private customers at the Nest and online
Developing and maintaining segment buckets using RFM measurements
Managing online merchandising for wines as well as tour and tasting experiences homepage, product pages, tour pages
Ensuring all website content pages text and imagery are tagged and optimised, regularly updated and correctly represent the brand
Instigating a plan for product highlights and new releases online
Being accountable for fixing bugs and daily website performance
Recommending progressive website development projects
Overseeing the range of digital task areas, and being the in-house lead on implementing creative digital plans devised with our digital agency across:
oOutreach awareness
oGoogle optimisation (SEO)
oOnline advertising and PPC
oSocial media advertising
oAffiliates and partnerships
Ensuring a sufficient commercial focus remains at the heart if not the forefront of all actions undertaken
Contributing relevant insight, information, analysis and commentary to our monthly reports and wider focus strategic context papers
Working with the collective marketing team to plan and implement integrated campaigns and activities across all our channels
Always achieving the premium standards expected of our Gusbourne brand in all activities and interactions


Education Requirements

Educated to degree level

Skills Requirements

Ability to lead digital marketing strategy and present at board level

Experience Requirements

In depth knowledge of premium and luxury digital marketing
