The role is at a managerial grade within the Client Services team at GAY TIMES GROUP. The role is relationship led with editorial paid relationships/media experience strictly necessary.
The role reports directly to the Senior Client Services Manager with commercial accountability to the Commercial Director.
You will also work closely with the Creative Director of Partnerships as required by the needs of the business.
We are looking for an experienced Editorial Client Services Manager to work across our Client Servicing functions to develop and and grow the organisations editorial paid pipeline and revenue generation opportunities.
It is an exciting time to join the business, with autonomy over commercial sales leads and smaller commercial partnership conversations.
You will work in a start-up like environment with an entrepreneurial mindset and great leadership and teamwork skills.
The goal is to promote and expand the companys commercial growth across media and relationships and industry standing, continuing our position as a leader in our field while innovating and moving us into new areas.
Extensive and varied experience (At least 3 years) within Business Development or Media roles relating directly to revenue generation.Skills Requirements
Contacts within commercial media/editorial partnerships relationships landscape.
Contacts within the fashion industry.
Deep understanding of LGBTQ media.
Analytical / Commercial budgeting and scoping skills.
Solid relationships within the big four media agencies.
Interest in digital content, editorial promotions, media editorial partnerships relationships and understanding of cool, current trends.
Experience in managing multiple projects and motivating people within an organisation, in other departments to help you achieve results.
Charismatic and engaging. Clients warm to you and your ability to make any prospective new business opportunity feel relaxed and engaged.
Confident in presenting your views and opinions on challenges, opportunities and ways to improve with conviction and professionalism.

Will be responsible for responding to, sourcing and activating editorial media opportunities with a commercial value below c. 20,000.
Using your experience, skills and contacts you will develop commercial opportunities relating to Print, Digital and wider relationships with world leading brands.
You will be responsible for understanding these clients' key strategic objectives, their measures of success and then presenting back ideas in how GAY TIMES can facilitate that through Media Plans, Partnership Proposals and other materials (with the support of the Client Servicing and Commercial Teams.
You will support the Commercial Director in managing a pipeline of strong high-value leads and work closely with the wider team to ensure that leads are closed in a timely manner.
You will own tracking information relating to the pipeline of leads you will create and report on a weekly basis to the Commercial Director with a pipeline/revenue update.
Working closely with the Senior Client Services Manager you will support in the delivery of each converted lead in to a GAY TIMES client and ensure at al ltimes that the clients key objectives and agreed scope is being delivered.
You will, when required, be asked to contribute to pitching materials and support GAY TIMES senior stakeholders at client meetings/events.
You will also have certain responsibility in monitoring industry trends on media spending across Print, Digital and other relevant media platforms to ensure that GAY TIMES maintains its position as a cool, current and connected media organisation.
