We are looking for a Design Manager to join our team. This might be the role for you, if you:

Core Role (70%)

-          Develop and advise on immersive learning/training experiences and strategic communications

-          Use a thorough understanding of behavioural science, learning science, human-centred design, experience design, and/or social sciences

-          Develop an authoritative voice and evidence-based perspective on the immersive learning design

-          Lead the design of low- to mid-complexity projects, and contribute heavily to design of high complexity projects

-          Flexible and able to work in different capacities on different projects

-          Adept at creative concepting, ideating, writing high level and detailed designs, critically evaluating design against client learning outcomes, and quality checking work of others

-          Use exceptional writing and communication skills, grounded in scientific principles, to develop precise, high-impact sessions with clear and memorable messaging/learning

-          Follow TST project processes throughout project lifecycle

-          Collaborate closely and effectively with delivery and project team members to ensure smooth continuity and flawless execution on all designs

-          Attain fluency in TST’s style of design and project work. And then find ways to make it even better

-          Add to and continuously update TST’s knowledge capital on leading-edge learning science and experience design

Business Development (10%)

-          Support Sales and Solutions teams on sales-related activities where required, including proposals and RFPs

-          Understand chargeability and profitability to ensure efficient client service

-          Maintain and develop BD relationships for key client accounts

-          Own, develop and deliver materials used for business development purposes (as agreed), to further develop TST

Team and Practice Building (20%)

-          Support in building processes and systems that enable the design team to scale without compromising exceptional quality standards

-          Support internal training and ongoing development for the TST team

-          Line manage and mentor junior team members

-          Find opportunities to collaborate effectively on projects across teams

Skills Requirements

-          Experienced in the design of experiential learning sessions, with strong experience in accelerated learning and behavioural science principles

-          Make decisions with confidence and take initiative

-          Honest, open and co-operative

-          Exceptional in team settings

-          Strong creative skills

-          Analytical thinking and complex problem solving

-          Positive, able to make a contribution to the team and the fast-paced environment in which we operate

-          Excellent client relationship building and management skills

-          Attentive to detail and high-quality communication skills

-          Excellent delegation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills

-          Able to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple projects and priorities

-          Able to adapt and respond well to change

-          Experienced within HR/talent/development space (desirable; not mandatory)
