Burness Paull is one of Scotland’s premier law firms with offices of equal size and strength across Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen, serving clients in Scotland, the UK and globally.  
We are looking to recruit a Digital Marketing Manager within our Business Development & Marketing team.   

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Develop, implement and evaluate the firm's digital marketing strategy 
  • Manage the integration of the firm's website, CRM system and email marketing tools to ensure they are client-centred and profitable
  • Provide search engine optimization (SEO) expertise to support business development 
  • Ensure meaningful and suitable analysis / evaluation and reporting of digital marketing activity 
  • Lead the delivery of online marketing campaigns and support digital aspects of cross-firm thought leadership campaigns
  • Manage the firm’s content marketing and social media output
  • Co-ordinate use of external agencies where appropriate
  • Provide firm colleagues with relevant training on all digital marketing aspects to ensure best practice
  • Play a key role within the BD & Marketing team in helping the firm achieve its growth goals 

Person specification:    

  • Bring sound understanding of cross-channel digital marketing processes, data analysis and evaluation
  • Be creative and hungry to share industry best practice and new ideas 
  • Ambitious to deliver market-leading digital marketing strategy
  • Have demonstrable experience in writing accurate and engaging online copy and social media content
  • Be well-networked in the digital marketing community with experience of co-ordinating external agencies   
  • Possess excellent communication and project management skills
  • Capable of working to tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders
  • Personable, proactive, and a ‘can-do’ problem solver
  • Absolutely must have a good sense of humour and enjoy presenting in front of large groups of people
