£34,151 - £37,136 per annum plus membership of Civil Service pension scheme
This is an exciting and challenging post within the Exhibitions and Design Department that is responsible for creating and delivering design, brand, exhibitions, touring exhibitions and displays for National Museums Scotland. The Design Team make a central contribution to the impactful public programme focusing on marketing, learning and participation.
You will be responsible for 3D and 2D design and print services across all National Museum sites, working with a variety of different internal stakeholders as well as commercial design and print companies.
Responsible for the creative design process and the management of the quality and standards of design deployed across National Museums Scotland, you will ensure successful project delivery in adherence to organisational project methodology, corporate identity guidelines and in accordance with budgetary requirements/financial procedures.
You will manage, motivate and develop the Design Team, supporting them to achieve good quality and creative work in a timely manner. You will oversee departmental priorities for design and print production, ensuring that resources are deployed efficiently and effectively on/across projects for National Museums Scotland.
