We’re looking for an exceptional marketing professional to play a pivotal role in a business primed for explosive growth
We’ve gone from nowhere to market leaders in just a few years by redefining what marketing looks like in our industry – and you can take the lead as we push on to the next level!
The Property Hub provides free property education to hundreds of thousands of property investors every year. We publish the UK’s most popular business podcast with over 150,000 monthly listeners, there are 23,000 members in our online community, we hold more than 35 free events across the country every month, and we publish a quarterly magazine as well as a selection of best-selling books.
These channels introduce clients to the businesses that form part of the Property Hub Group – including a property investment company, a property development business, a letting agency, a short-term finance company and a specialist property accountancy service.
We’re only a few years old, but have grown phenomenally quickly because of the quality and volume of the material we put out, as well as the channels we’ve chosen. So far, this has been achieved with minimal resources – but now we’re investing in building out a marketing department to take full advantage of the market-dominating position we’ve created. And you could be leading it!
Based from our office in Warrington, you will be responsible for co-ordinating the marketing activities of the entire Property Hub Group – including our free educational content (podcast, magazine, events, webinars, forum etc.) as well as the marketing needs of each individual business within the Group.
You will work with the Marketing Director to develop the marketing strategy, then manage a team (both in-house and contractors) to deliver marketing content that expands the reach of The Property Hub and drives leads into each business.
Initially, virtually all our marketing activity will continue to be “inbound” and content-driven in nature. Over time, you will also take responsibility for advertising and PR as we start using these channels.
What you’ll be doing
Translating the overall quarterly marketing themes into a cross-channel content plan – to include the podcast, magazine, webinars, video, emails, events and social media
Owning the content calendar to ensure that our regular marketing content is delivered on time at the highest quality, and is tied directly to our strategic objectives
Managing, expanding and developing the talent within the marketing department – plus our specialist freelancers (such as our podcast producer)
Measuring the results of our marketing efforts (in terms of reach and number of leads generated), and being accountable to the Marketing Director for hitting quarterly targets
Continuously researching and developing new ideas for how we can develop better, more effective marketing content
You possess a rare combination of organisation and creativity. You’re full of ideas for improvements to make and new things to try, but never allow them to distract you from what needs to be done right now.
You’re used to being hands-on, and if you don’t know how to do something you can confidently learn with minimal guidance. If you’ve never launched a YouTube channel or designed an email funnel around a webinar, after a week of research you’ll know what to do and be able to lead your team to get it done.
You’re a confident manager, making sure everyone on your team stays on track and maintains your high standards while juggling multiple time-sensitive objectives.
You appreciate the power of inbound marketing, and intuitively understand how to create content that simultaneously educates and achieves the objectives of the business.
You’re numbers-driven, and are always measuring the effectiveness of your marketing activity to determine what to adjust and what to do more of.
